Penetration Testing

Unpatched systems and weak configuration and architecture are pervasive
in many organisations today. 
There is an important need for enterprises to implement a program to
identify and remediate these risks. 
Penetration testing is becoming more common, yet this is often delivered
in isolation or by people who do not have the training or experience in
this field. 

This SIG will focus on a number of common areas of penetration testing
including; 
- The reasons for testing, 
- Limitations 
- The need to include as part of a comprehensive Information Security
program 
- What differentiates a successful penetration testing exercise 
- Common exploits 
- Common issues discovered 
- Report writing
